ARTICLE 2: RECOGNITION
2.1 The District and the Association hereby confirm the recognition
of the Atwater Elementary Teachers Association/CTA/NEA for the unit claimed
to be
appropriate and defined as "all certificated employees, excluding management,
supervisory, confidential employees, and substitutes".
2.2 The term unit member as used hereinafter shall mean an employee included
in the recognized bargaining unit.
2.3 When positions are created, the District shall notify the Association prior
to filling the position.
