Gloria Honey, President

Gloria has been in the education field for 26 years at the elementary and high school levels.  She is currently a teacher for the Merced Union High School District.  She has implemented and re-organized school programs to assist and empower minority and at-risk students.  Gloria has a variety of experiences in community and school programs:  Merced College E.O.P.S. board member, Bloss Scholarship Committee member, Anti-Gang group facilitator, Latina Empowerment group advisor, School Site Council member, WASC Accreditation sub-group leader, community members training facilitator, Personal Empowerment Program facilitator, Safe School Committee member, etc.  She and her husband have five children and her son attends school in the Atwater Elementary School District.
