In 1996 Atwater Elementary School District adopted the NuMenus program, or Nutrient Standard Menu Planning. Menu planning and how we service meals must help us meet the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) for calories, protein, iron, calcium, and Vitamins A&C. Under the NuMenus breakfast program students must take 2 items offered from the three categories, Milk, Side Entrees, and Side Offerings. Students also have choices within each of the 3 categories.
